He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Lisa Schulze (Robert), Tina Johnson (Evan), Doug Freund (Julie) and Nick Freund; his grandchildren, Hannah (Kevin), Matthew, Chris, Sara, Aidan, Payton and Paige; his stepgrandchildren, Parker, Landon and Alek; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Toots Thorn, Tom Friend, John Freund and Steve Freund. He is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
