He was predeceased by: his mother Ysidra Federico Ortiz; his siblings, Salvador Ortiz, Ricardo Ortiz, Guillermo Ortiz and Elva Robledo; and his son James Federico.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Martinez; his children, Yvonne Speer (Calvin), Annette Farrell, Veronica Rice (Eric) and Ray Federico (Karen); his grandchildren, Nicholas Speer (Summer), Johnathan Farrell (Megan), Jason Farrell (Tara), David Federico, Christopher Farrell, Sydney Speer, Eric Rice, Sarah Rice, Rachel Rice and Aidan Federico; and his great grandchildren, Everen Farrell, Nathan Farrell and Judah Speer.
