She was predeceased by: her husband Nicolas Garcia Jr.; her parents, Francisco Gutierrez and Ester Gutierrez; her brother David Gutierrez (Lydia); her nephew Rene Gutierrez; and her sister Herminia G. Arreola.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Castaneda (Mario), Eva Martinez (Robin) and Nicolas Garcia III (Oralia Ortiz); her grandchildren, Alissa Jacoby (Jesse), Nicole Medina (Daniel) and Nick IV Garcia (Isabella); and her great grandchildren, Clarissa, Caleb Jacoby, Aden, Penelope, Evelyn Medina, Alessandra and Mila Garcia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the Church of Good Shepherd in her honor.
