With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Lynn Gawthrop (Schertz, Texas), who passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Weir and Aretta Weir of Texas; her grandson Jeremy Ross of Niceville, FL.; and also, Roy and Billie Gawthrop of Loveland, CO.

She is survived by: her spouse Terry; her daughter Pamela A Ross of Friendswood Texas; her son-in-law Kevin Ross; her grandson Nicholas (Audrey) of Bauxite, AR; her daughter Deborah M Paniagua of Schertz; her son-in-law Eber Paniagua; her grandson Corey Gawthrop of San Antonio; her great grandchildren, Corey J Gawthrop Jr. and Cashton A Gawthrop; her grandchildren, Lisa Kellum of San Antonio and Layne Kellum; her great grandchildren, Davien McCumber and Tytus Kellum; her grandchildren, Kristina Paniagua and Jacob Paniagua; her daughter Kristie L Barnes of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Kayla Gawthrop and Joshua Gawthrop; and her siblings-in-law, Daniel Gawthrop (Jane) and Jerri Murtishaw of Ft Collins, CO.

From Schertz Texas, she was surrounded by family at the time of her passing after a brief struggle with the COVID pneumonia disease.
