Though John Robert may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Frank Wicks Jr. and Evelyn Marie Wicks (Whitler). He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Rob Wicks and Anita Luther (Jamie); his grandsons, CJ and Jake; his sister Nancy Williams (Rick) of Springfield, IL; his uncle Richard; and his aunt Shirly Whitler of Girard, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug a loved one tight in honor of Bob.
