He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sandru and Lucretia Sandru; and his brother Arnold Sandru. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, John (Tina), Jeffrey (Stephanie), Tammy (Scott) and Mark; his grandchildren, Jessica Jones (Travis), Grant Sanford, Kaitlin Sandru and Brandon Sandru; and his brother Nick (Eileen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to John's favorite charities may be made to: Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, San Antonio Humane Society or Vested Interest in K9's, Inc.
