It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jake Thomas Jura Jr. of Schertz, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jake Thomas Jura Sr. and Anna Jura; and his brothers, Jim Jura, Ray Jura and Roland Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Michael, Michele (Scott Leibowitz), Bryan (Christine) and Steven (Yolie Snider); his grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew, Zachary, Emily and Shawna; his great grandchildren, Forrest, Karsen, Mason and Margo; and his sister Judy Bateman.
