He was predeceased by: his parents, James Porterfield and Margaret Porterfield; and his siblings, Patty Hart and Jim Porterfield. He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Jenschke; his children, Sandy Runnels (Gary Runnels) and Nancy Bear; his grandchildren, Tara, Westin and Zoe; and his great grandchild Jaxon.
