She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wise Shane and Anne Louise Shane (Settlemeyer); her husband James Hugh Curtis; and her brother John Warren Shane. She is survived by: her sister Martha Taylor of Uvalde; her nephew Cody Taylor (Jessica) of Knippa; her niece Debra Shane of San Antonio; her great-nephew Jayden Taylor; her great-nieces, Lauren and Emma Shane Underwood; her friends, Scott, Terri, Terence and Pat; and her pet Addie Mae.
