With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dora Estelle Otero of Schertz, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dora Estelle Otero to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Cordero and Gloria G. Cordero; and her grandmother Dora. She is survived by: her siblings, Victor II, Joseph Cordero and Emma DiStefano; her nephew Victor Cordero III; her husband Richard; and her children, Richard Jr. (Marie), Dawn (Fred) and Debra. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and countless beloved extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (1065 E Live Oak Rd, Schertz, TX 78154). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
