She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Amelia Canales; and her children, Cynthia, Joseph, Sindi (Joe Rosales), Joe Avalos (Eva) and Thomas Avalos (Tammy). She was also cherished by Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and nephews and nieces.
On July 7, 2020, Memo lost her battle against COVID-19.
