She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Dulaney (Gilliam) and Harvey Cherry; her stepfather Odo Dulaney; her siblings, Charles Cherry, Betty Kaiser and Angileah Coley; her husband Charles Youree Gibson; and her son Charles "Wayne" Gibson.
She is survived by: her sons, James Michael Gibson and Kenneth Dale Gibson; her grandchildren, Michael Gibson, Barbara Gibson, Rebecca James, Jake Gibson and Heather Gibson; her great grandchildren, Katy Gibson, Jasmine James, Ashley, Victoria, Jennifer and Ayla Gibson; her cousin Frances Gilliam; and her daughter Jasmine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
