With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Ruth Sweet of Savoy, Texas, born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Ashby Wharton, Jr. and Ruth Joy Jones Wharton; her husband Royce H. Sweet; and her grandparents, Turner A. Wharton, Sr., D. D., Floy Hurt Wharton, George Walton Jones and Julia Lee Clement Jones.
She is survived by: her siblings, Turner Ashby Wharton, III and Ruth Clair Wharton (Pixie); her children, Michael Sweet (Lupe), Jeff Sweet (Stephanie) and Naomi Sweet Bonney (Jerry); her grandchildren, Joshua Bonney, Spencer Wade, Mark Bonney, Jeremy Sweet, Ashley Sweet Burchfield, Stephanie Bonney Martin, Cindy Sweet and Emily Sweet; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Bonney, Roan Sweet, Cooper Bonney, Justin Wade and Ellie Burchfield.
