He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sr. Kanz and Cora Pape Kanz; and his brother-in-law Charles Pankey. He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Kanz; his daughters, Glenda Curtis (Michael) and Crystal Pilus (David); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Doyal (Brad), Megan Curtis, Matthew Pilus and Amanda Pilus; his great grandchild Mason Doyal; his siblings, Esther Kanz Pankey and Bobby Kanz (Michelee); his nephew John Pankey (Alice); and his nieces, Charlotte Alvarez and Jenifer Walker (Kurt).
