He was predeceased by: his parents, David "Big Daddy" Bandy and Manda Bell Whitmire; his son Christopher David "Little Buddy" Bandy (Elizabeth) of Groves, Texas; and his siblings, James, Betty and Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Kay Bandy of Saratoga, Texas; his daughters, Tracia LyNett Bandy-Howe of Bridge City and Manda Peeler (Dean) of Sour Lake, Texas; his sister Judy Roberts of Palestine, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jacob Bandy, Taylor Bandy, Drew Howe, Gabriel Howe, Michael Dean Peeler, Gabriel David Peeler and David Harrison Bandy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
