Gloria G. Swanson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria G. Swanson of Santa Rosa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria G. Swanson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Handschke and Margaret Handschke (Hoewisch); and her siblings, Werner, Erwin Handschke, Regina Hindersman and Charlotte Fenske.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne A. Swanson; her children, Jeffrey Wayne and Shawn Jones (Craig); her grandchildren, Courtney, Spencer, Preston and Kendall Jones; her siblings, Cordella Henderson and Carlton Handschke (Ellen); and her sisters-in-law, Emma Jean Boyd and Patricia Smith. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran in honor of Gloria.
