She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Garza and Rosaura Perez Garza; her husband Santos T. Saldivar; and her grandson Orlando Saldivar, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Marlon Saldivar (Yolanda), Thelma Garza (Michael), Orlando Saldivar (Linda), San Marino Saldivar (Miriam) and Oscar Saldivar (Cynthia); and her siblings, Felipa Hernandez, Dora Lopez, Amalia Vela, Juanita Cavazos (Connie), Enedina Martinez (Annie) and Sulema Lumbrera. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Santo Nombre Cemetery.
