He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Gonzalez and Luz Gonzalez; and his brother Alfonso Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gonzalez; his children, Anthony Gonzalez (Candy), Suzette Gonzalez (Brad) and Blace Olivares (Victor); his siblings, Lupe Sanchez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez, Roberto Gonzalez, Abel Gonzalez, Elena Ledesma and Elvira Merritt; and his grandchildren, Eric Costilla, Laura Lanier, April Costilla, Cecilia Castaneda, Janie Castaneda, Alicia Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez Jr., Angela Jorden, Amanda Rincon and Abel Gonzalez. He is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
