He was predeceased by: his father Artis Leonard Thompson, Sr.; and his grandmother J. C. Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Charliene Thompson; his mother Patricia Thompson; his daughter Samantha Lazo; his siblings, Artis Leonard "Skip" Thompson, Jr. (Barbara), Evelyn Arlene "E. T." Thompson and Holly Thompson Folsom (Kevin); his niece Wanda Christine Niekirk (Grif); and his cousins, Tom Ivey (Karen) and Allan Ivey (Adriann).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel (10412 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
