He is survived by: his wife Waltraud "Walli" Ekstrom; his stepsons, Eric Munie, Eddie Munie and Fred Scheunemann; his siblings, Chris Ekstrom (DeAnn), Teddy Ekstrom and Grace Ann Lee; his grandchildren, Rylie Ekstrom (Haylee), Brady Ekstrom, Tobie Ekstrom, Erika Scheunemann and Chloe Schuenemann; and his pets, Girlie, Jr. of MiMi and Stuby. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel (10412 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510).
