She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Downey and Barbara Downey (Quiggle); and her siblings, Robert B. Downey, Arnold B. Downey and Deborah Muzzy.

She is survived by: her husband Max Alston; her siblings, Gary Downey and Starr Diliberto (Downey) of Mt. Morris; and her nephews, Timothy Diliberto (Audrey) and Joseph Rawiely. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
