We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024, at the age of 71, Brenda Kay Nelson (Santa Fe, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Brenda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Brenda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nelson and Gussie Nelson (Kiser); and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Nelson and Elizabeth "Bee" Nelson. She is survived by: her son Chad Nelson of Santa Fe; her siblings, William A. "Bill" Nelson (Lillian) of Santa Fe and Bert Chesshir of Santa Fe; and her sister-in-law Janie Nelson of Pearland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel (10412 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Arcadia First Baptist Church (14828 Hwy 6, Santa Fe, TX 77510).
