It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raquel Garza (Santa Elena, Texas), born in Delmita, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ramiro Garza; her parents, Nicanor Pena and Estefana Pena; and her siblings, Leonel Pena (Olga), Ruben Pena (Eva), Leonardo, Rafael and Rebecca.
She is survived by: her brother Leovaldo Pena (Orfelinda) of Harlingen, TX.; her children, Araceli Garza (David), Agnes Carswell (John), Anna Estrada (Ricardo) and Alan Garza (Rosie); her grandchildren, Janice Valdez (Freddy), Lori Pena (Anthony), April Hudson (Caleb), Dara Estrada, Jenelle Estrada, Ashley Garza, Albino Bazan (Crystal) and Adrian Bazan (Rebecca); and her great grandchildren, Aaron Bazan, Summer Bazan, Adrian T. Bazan and Austin Pena.
