She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul William Menke and Alma Anna Wehlmann Menke; her husband Gerald Benton; her sister Ruby Ann Schwartz; her sons, Jerry Benton and Gene Benton; her daughters-in-law, Mary Benton, Becky Benton and Shirley Benton; her grandchildren, Patricia Benton, Kyler Lee and Jordan Paul Salas; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Benton.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Benton (Carla) of Jarrell, TX, Shirley McEwin (Clint) of Santa Anna, TX, Patsy Salas (Roy) of Temple, TX, Sabre Abbott (Guy) of San Angelo, TX, Mike Benton (Shirley) of Ft. Worth, TX and Judy Adams (Dean) of New Braunfels, TX; her sister Allene Menke of San Angelo, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Greer of Brownwood, TX and Alfonse Schwartz of San Angelo, TX. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, their spouses and many great and great-great grandchildren.
