He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Freddie Joe Welch of Gorman and Lola Metzger Barr of Mason; his wife Judy Welch; his daughters, Christina Welch-Schwartz (Mark Schwartz) of San Angelo and Molly Shults (Shaun Shults) of Early; his grandchildren, Bo, Madison Dunn, Bentley Saladino, Reagan, Cooper Shults, Raven, Raistlyn and Colton Schwartz; his son Jason Alan Welch; his brother Larry Dean Welch; and his grandparents, Oatis, Pauline Welch, Clarence and Irene Metzger. He was also cherished by several nieces, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gooch Cemetery (571 Bickenbach Ave, Mason, TX 76856).
