It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ola Payne of Sanger, Texas, born in McCaulley, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George T. Payne (Buck); her parents, Joseph Nichols and Princie Nichols; and her siblings, Alvin Nichols and Beulah Vick.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Jeanette Payne Gandy (Kent Gandy) of Oak Point and Priscilla Ann Payne Owens (Kyle Owens) of Houston, Texas; her grandson William Brian Gandy (Elizabeth Ann Gandy); and her great grandchildren, Blake Carter Gandy of Loveland, Colorado and Brayden Owens of Houston. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews and their spouses and many precious friends.
