He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Ballard and Jo Ballard. He is survived by: his daughter Holly Ballard (Jonathan Grable) of Ft. Worth; his siblings, Chris Ballard (Marian) of Kingwood and Melissa Scroggins (Tommy) of Lexington; and his aunts, Barbara Calderon of Galveston and Sue Helms of Pasadena. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Campground Cemetery (295 Co Rd 2075, Woodville, TX 75979).
