Clara Jean Tipton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Jean Tipton of Sanger, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Pennington and Beulah Pennington; her husband Sam; and her siblings, Willie Mae Conley, Mildred Katherine Metoyer, Doris Clampitt, Estalene Norris and Roger Dale Pennington.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Billy Harmon of Sanger; her sons, Gene (Pam Tipton) and Kenneth (Jana Tipton); her siblings, Dorothy Bartel of Aubrey and Lonnie Pennington (Mary) of Granbury; her grandchildren, Angela Vaughan (Chris), Ashley Long, Brittany Dowdy, Chase Tipton (Ashley), Trent Tipton, Clint Tipton (Katie), Tiffany McPherson (Jared), Brooke Christian and Eric Offord; and her great grandchildren, Austin Vaughan, Callie Vaughan, Tyler Long, Hailey Dowdy, Hayden Callahan, Layden Tipton, Samuel "Cole" Tipton, Brayden Bagley, Blake Bagley, Trayson Tipton, Turner Tipton, Teddy Tipton, Eddie Tipton and Adelynn "Jade" Offord. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coker Funeral Home (403 Pecan St, Sanger, TX 76266). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (708 S 5th St, Sanger, TX 76266).
