We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2024, at the age of 78, Betty Jean Melson of Sanger, Texas, born in Davenport, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Howard and Ruby Howard; her daughter Tammy; and her brothers, Russell, Billy, Cecil, Roscoe Jr., Jasper, David and Tommy Wayne.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Harold Melson, Sr.; and her sons, Thomas Melson, Jr. and Tony Lynn Melson. She is also survived by five grandkids and eight great grandkids.
