He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Roy Seger and Thelma Irene Ellis Seger; his wife Judy Ames; his son Randy Seger; his granddaughter Jessica Strickland; and his son-in-law Ronnie Meyers.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Strickland (LeeAnn) of Fritch, Billy Strickland of Bentonville, Russell Strickland of Bentonville, Arkansas, Donna Myers of Bentonville, Patricia Baker (Truman) of Cave Springs and Renee Seger-McCormick (Tony) of Stinnett; and his sisters, Nora Haudenshild of Medford and Grace McDade (Walter) of Spearman. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, five nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
