He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentiss Hightower and Leona Hightower; his son Shane Hightower; and his brothers, Lyndon, Gaylon and Don.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Hightower; his daughters, Rhonda West and Stacy Caster; his son-in-law James West; his grandchildren, Raquel Caster, Reesen Caster, Briahna West and Brody West; his son-in-law Randal Caster; his sister Brenda Snider; and his brother-in-law John Snider. He is also survived by many cousins and other extended family.
