He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejandro Marquez and Petra V. Marquez; and his siblings, Sabas Marquez, Cruz Marquez, Gudelia Lopez, Anita Rodriguez, Reynalda Hernandez and Isidora Mancha.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Olivares Marquez; and his children, Eliberto Marquez (Theresa) of Dripping Springs, David Marquez (Michelle) of El Paso, Texas, Eulalia Munoz (Carlos) of Austin and Yolanda Sanchez (Ray) of Sanderson, Texas.. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
