She was predeceased by: her husband Modesto Esquivel Sr.; her sons, Modesto Esquivel Jr. and Alfredo Esquivel; and her parents, Juan Rocha and Concepcion Rocha.
She is survived by: her children, Norberto Esquivel, Armando Esquivel (Vilma), Oscar Esquivel, Juan Esquivel, Ramiro Esquivel (Brenda), Amado Esquivel (Mariela), Guadalupe Arambula (Rafael) and Olivia Arambula (Guadalupe); and her daughter-in-law Irma Esquivel. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
