He was predeceased by: his fathers, Wallace Elizabeth Parks and F. Owen Parks; and his son John Carter Parks. He is survived by: his wife Linda June Hendricks; his daughter Kelli Barker (Darrin); his siblings, John (Mary Helen) and Susan Gilger (John Robert); his grandsons, John Darrin (Michelle) and Justin (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Colt, Walt, Chloe and Brantley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
