He was predeceased by: his father Maldon Norris; and his son Patrick Wayne Norris. He is survived by: his mother Ernestine Norris; his children, Melissa Gipson, Raeven Alonzo (Eric Alonzo) and John Norris; his siblings, Dwayne Norris (Toni Norris) and Debra Berryhill (Robert Berryhill); and his aunt Melba Jean Thompson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four nephews, one niece.
