He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elige Hovers and Barbara Sue Knight Hovers; and his sister Wanda Hovers Neihl. He is survived by: his sons, R. J. Hovers, Dylan Hovers, Hunter Hovers and Ryan Chester; his sisters, Linda Hovers Moore, Carolyn Pellett (Brad) and Brenda Davis; his niece Jamie Aguilar; and his nephew Jay Gardner.
