He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Faught of Mason; his children, Pamela Faught Kruse (Randy Kruse) of Mason and James Weldon Faught (Amy Faught) of San Saba; his brother Thomas Faught (Nancy Faught) of Aubrey; his grandchildren, Jessica Kruse Markell (Blaine Markell), Casey Andrew Kruse (Kelsey Kruse), Kirsten Paige Faught, John Weldon Faught and Jacob Wesley Faught; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Kruse, Lainey Kruse, Everly Prentice, Rhyder Markell and Brynlee Kruse; and his parents, Andrew Brown Faught (Pete) and Imogene Jennings Faught.

He also donated countless hours to the Richland Springs Rodeo Association to build a facility for the youth of Richland Springs.
