With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elodia Zapata of San Saba, Texas, who passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Martinez and Andrea Galindo; her husband Francisco N. Zapata Jr.; and her siblings, Doroteo Martinez, Trinidad Martinez, Nasario Martinez and Modesta Quiroz.
She is survived by: her children, Ramrio Zapata (Tura) of McGregor, Texas, Ricardo Chino Zapata (Cynthia Ann) of San Saba, Texas, Frank Zapata, Christina Menchaca, Yolanda Hernandez (Amado) of San Saba, Texas and Maria Zapata of Flower Mound, Texas; and her sister Juana Jimenez of Kerrville, Texas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
