He was predeceased by: his parents, Crisostomo España Botello and Maria De Jesus Duarte; and his brothers, Gregorio Duarte Botello, Chris Duarte Botello, Trinidad Duarte Botello, Simon Duarte Botello and Joe Duarte Botello.
He is survived by: his former wife Carole Newman; his wife Carol Botello of San Saba; his son Ruben Botello (Alicia) of Tyler; his stepdaughters, Kelly Self (Jim) of Vidor, Alida Korns (Kevin) of Deer Park and Nancy Hart (Kenneth) of Vidor; and his siblings, Thomas Duarte Botello of Lubbock, Felix Duarte Botello of San Saba, Mauro Duarte Botello, John Duarte, Maria Santos Ramirez of San Saba and Pauline Perez (Joe) of San Saba. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, seven, great-grandchildren, one, great-great-granddaughter.
