He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Mickelson and Margaret Mickelson. He is survived by: his significant other Annagene; his son Chris (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Sarah and Levi of Soldotna, Alaska; and his son Kerry (Mitzi) of Richardson, Texas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and great nephews, along with many longtime friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the San Saba Cemetery (1011 N High St, San Saba, TX 76877).
