She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Stephen Leonard Pye and Winnifred Jane Pye (Webb); her spouse Doris Randol Richey; and her sister Merle. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Matthews; her son-in-law Mike; her sons, George Richey and Tom Richey; her children-in-law, Jeannie and Britney; her siblings, Dianne Lamb and David Sanders (Paula); her grandchildren, Justin Abbie, Crystal Guzman, Valerie Ramblin, Amy Dunn, Holly Andrews, Cody Richey, Levi Richey and Vivienne Richey; her grandchildren-in-law, Alberto Guzman, Darin Ramblin, Steven Dunn, Brian Andrews and Amanda Richey; and her great grandchildren, Bo Abbie, Morgan Missavage, Eli Guzman, Lainey Ramblin, Zoey Ramblin, Jack Dunn, Raleigh Andrews and Rowdy Richey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Christian Church (3105 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666).
