He was predeceased by: his parents, Marciano DeLeon and Dolores DeLeon (Hurtado); his siblings, Nelda Jean Lugo and Bill DeLeon; and his grandson Aiden Zulaica.
He is survived by: his wife Janie DeLeon; his sons, Michael James Deleon (Leticia Ana Molina) and Jacob Aaron DeLeon; his siblings, Richard DeLeon, Mike DeLeon, Gilbert Deleon, Mark DeLeon, John Paul DeLeon and Nancy DeLeon Lugo; and his grandchildren, Ibanez Emily DeLeon, Kiara Ortiz, Jackie Ortiz, Iommi Michael Molina DeLeon, Atlas Molina Fry, Jayda Nicole DeLeon and Sarah Mila DeLeon. He is also survived by his brothers and sister, brother and sisters-in-law and also father-in-law.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pennington Funeral Home (323 N Comanche St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Pennington Funeral Home (323 N Comanche St, San Marcos, TX 78666).
