He was predeceased by: his parents, Thongyou Sivilay and Chanbouapha Sivilay; his brother Amphanphone Sivilay; and his father-in-law Jon Hovde. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Sue Hovde; his children, Cory, Riley, Emily and Molly; his siblings, Oravonne Siri-Outhay (Khamphot), Inthasone Sivilay (Duangsamone), Amonechanh Luangrath (Nouanedeng), Phetnakhone Chanthavong (Panong), Siriphone Manikhong, Malimone Rodden, Thiphakone Sivilay (Southaporn), Soutsakhone Sivilay (Phouvieng) and Phonepraseuth Sivilay (Phiangchay); his mother-in-law Ann Hovde; and his siblings-in-law, Melissa Hovde and Timothy Hovde. He is also survived by nine nieces, seven nephews, four grandnieces, and three grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (130 W Holland St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
