She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel T. Steward and Lavita Steward (Elliott); her husband Melvin George Bricker; and her son Darick Bricker. She is survived by: her children, Craig Bricker and Carol Wisseman of San Marcos. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
