He was predeceased by: his parents, Porfirio Quintero and Ignacia Quintero; his wife Mary Ann Natal Quintero; and his sisters, Ruth Chagoya, Carmen Martinez, Dominga San Miguel and Rosa Andrada.

He is survived by: his sons, Robert C. Quintero Jr. (Patricia Quintero), Pedro Quintero (Yvonne Quintero) and Joseph Rudy Quintero (Agustina Quintero); his brothers, Enrique Quintero, Baldomero Lozano, Martin Quintero and Pablo Quintero; and his great grandchildren, Jaren Cortez and Samantha Esperanza Garza. He is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
