Paula R. Rodriguez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula R. Rodriguez of San Marcos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reyes M. Rodriguez; her children, Hilda Cardenas, Jose Melecio Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez; her granddaughter Martha Araceli Rodriguez; and her parents, Juan Reyes and Santiaga Reyes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vivi Flores (Onie), Nellie Cantu (Joe), Paula Gonzales (John), Elida Hernandez (Florentino), Maria Guadalupe Silva and Gloria Maria Rodriguez Reyes (Robert); and her sisters, Ernestina Romero and Guadalupe Rodriguez. She is also survived by grandchildren: 20; great grandchildren: 41; great, great grandchildren: 7; and with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 8:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Los Angeles Funeral Home (300 Cheatham St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM at 115 Kinney St, Crystal City, TX 78839. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Benito Juarez Cemetery (1805-2039 Old Uvalde Hwy, Crystal City, TX 78839).
She was very proud of her contributions to the Sociedad.
