Melvin left this world on December 31, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Melvin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Melvin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nathan Harris of Clifford Harris and Ola B Cooks-Harris; his children, Tomica Rodriguez, Lawanda Anderson, Christopher Harris, Katrina Harris-Wright and Crystal Harris; and also, Melvin Mckinney, Erma Brown, Judy Harris, Barbara Miles and Linda Powell. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Greater Bethel Baptist Church (726 Centre St, San Marcos, TX 78666). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
