She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Maria "Joe" Covarrubias. She is survived by: her children, Joe Covarrubias (Rachel Covarrubias), Irma Covarrubias (Michael Jacobs) and William Covarrubias (Rhonda Hohertz-Covarrubias); her stepdaughters, Pamela Soria and Carmen Read; and her grandchildren, Kaleb Covarrubias, Austin Hart, Victoria Gonzales, Mikayla Herron, Justyne Covarrubias and Jacob Hohertz. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church (1100 Main St, Buda, TX 78610).
