We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Kathryn Wenke in San Marcos, Texas, born in Harlingen, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Frank Wenke (Butch); her parents, Lois Hargrove (Erickson) and Oran Hargrove; her parents-in-law, Carl Wenke and Sally Wenke; and her sister Carolyn Leinneweber.
She is survived by: her children, Josh Wenke and Kimberly Adams (Dwain); her grandchildren, Tyler Wenke (Kaylie), Kaila Adams, Brody Adams and Lukas Wenke; and her husband La Feria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral the Chapel at the San Marcos Cemetery (1001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666).
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a scholarship fund set up in her husband's name (La Feria ISD Care of The Joseph F. Wenke Scholarship Fund), which will help support first generation college students that plan on majoring in education.
