It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Hutchens (San Marcos, Texas), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl and Mary Viola Coco Hutchens; and his brother Earl Ray Hutchens. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Marie Ruth; his daughters, Patricia Kay Hutchens Straus (Wyatt), Sandra Lynn Hutchens and Judy Gail Hutchens Wilson (Robert); his grandchildren, Sarah Muirhead (Brent), Erik Jacobson (Stephanie) and Margaret Buza (Cole); and his great grandchildren, John Muirhead, Matthew Muirhead, William Jacobson and James Buza. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, and sons-in-law.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the San Marcos City Cemetery (1001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666).
